But let's take a moment to reflect on what procrastination might be costing your business.

What Procrastination Costs You

1. Loss of Income

You might procrastinate because you fear making the wrong decision or losing money. Ironically, the act of delaying might cost you even more. Every day that you hesitate is a day of potential revenue is lost. Because (let's be honest) typically, one day of procrastination can turn into months/years.

2. Loss of Growth

Each moment spent delaying a decision or action is a missed opportunity for expansion, innovation, and increased market share for your business. However, business growth is not the only growth that is being delayed. 👇👇👇

As a business owner, you are the CEO of your company. Rather, you make $5k a year or $500k a year- you are the CEO of your business! We learn and grow from making choices and taking action. If you procrastinate on actions/decisions, you are choosing NOT to grow as a leader in your business.

3. Loss of Time

Time is your most valuable resource, and it's the one thing you can't get back. The longer you procrastinate, the longer it will take to hit your goals!

4. Loss of Impact

You have services/products that positively impact your clients/customers. If you or your business is not growing, you miss out on the ability to continue to enhance your client experience or expand your reach to impact a larger audience.

Tips to Overcome Procrastination

2. Prioritize Your Tasks with the Right Mindset. On days you do not feel "motivated" to do your tasks, remind yourself of the rate of return taking action will get you! Think of how much "future you" will appreciate you if you do not procrastinate.

3. Habit Stack. By linking new tasks with already established routines, you can make them feel more natural and easier to incorporate into your daily routine.
